Website build & booking
Rebound Body Studio was taking bookings through a directory that listed its competitors down the side of the same page. The domain was parked. We built the studio its own site with its own booking flow, and kept the existing booking platform as the engine rather than throwing away a system that already worked.

01 — The problem
The studio took bookings through a third-party directory. That directory works — it handles scheduling, payments, reminders and the client database, and rebuilding any of that would have been months of work to arrive somewhere worse.
But a directory profile is a rented front door. It renders every therapist in the same template. It shows competing businesses in the same city on the same screen. And every bit of search authority the studio earned accrued to the directory's domain rather than its own, which sat parked with no certificate at all.

02 — What we did
The decision that shaped the build was what not to rebuild. Scheduling, reminders, payments, the client database and reporting already ran well on the existing platform. The website's job was to be the studio's own voice and its own address on the web, not to duplicate machinery that was already working.
03 — The line we would not cross
One part of the obvious scope was refused outright.
Intake forms and treatment notes are protected health information. Storing them in a custom web build means taking on medical-records liability on ordinary hosting — with no business associate agreement, no audit trail and no encryption guarantee worth relying on. The platform the studio already uses handles that inside a system built for it.
So the site links into that intake flow rather than absorbing it. If anyone ever proposes moving intake forms onto the website "so it is all in one place", this is the item to say no to.
04 — What changed
The studio now has a site it controls: its own domain, its own positioning, its own words, and a booking path that starts and ends on that domain. A prospective client searching for sports massage in Mesa can find the studio itself rather than a directory page that also lists everyone else who does the same work.
The work is described here as what was built, not as a traffic result. No search or booking figures are claimed on this page, because none have been measured over a long enough period to mean anything yet.

05 — Still open
Stated plainly, because a case study that only lists what went well is an advertisement.
Photography of the studio and of the practitioner is still the missing asset. Stock spa imagery would actively undercut a sports-recovery positioning, so it has been left out rather than faked.
Verified reviews are not yet displayed. They are being collected through the booking platform; the section stays off the site until there is something real to show.
